Inglewood Honors Forum Favorites |
|||||
Two legendary broadcasters have been honored by Partners for Progress for bringing unprecedented fame to Inglewood and the Great Western Forum. Participating in a Forum presentation are, from left, Kings' announcer Bob Miller, Hollywood Park's Norman Cravens, Inglewood Park Cemetery's Donald H. Eiesland, and Lakers' announcer Chick Hearn. With more than 64 years of game broadcasts between them, Miller and Hearn will become a permanent part of the Forum's Wall of Fame next fall when the teams play their last exhibition games in Inglewood before relocating to the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. The teams' move will free up more than 80 prime dates for concerts and sports events at the popular Inglewood arena, located just east of LAX at Manchester and Prairie. |
