Heart Institute Caps Cardiac Services
at Centinela Hospital
  With the opening of the Tommy Lasorda Heart Institute, Centinela Hospital Medical Center now provides a comprehensive range of cardiac services – from heart surgery, angioplasty and acute heart attack treatment, to inpatient convalescence and outpatient testing – all in one centralized location. Named for the former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Institute opened late in 2000.

The Institute features cardiac catheterization laboratories with cardiac diagnostic and interventional capabilities, electrophysiology services, upgraded angiography and angioplasty equipment, and enhanced intensive care facilities and equipment.

Centinela Hospital also offers comprehensive array of clinical services, from obstetrics and pediatric care to rehabilitation and diabetes programs.
